As a company of Natura &Co, Avon has implemented Beauty of Doing Good.

Avon has six sustainability targets by 2030: operate with net zero carbon emissions, contribute zero waste to landfills, maintain a 95% recycling rate, reduce to 5 percent less water intensity by 2025, extend the paper promise towards more carton packaging, and convert all packaging materials to reusable, recyclable, or compostable materials.

Along with its 6 million mostly female representatives, Avon seeks to collaborate with women who are taking charge in the global effort to clean up the world.

Under Avon’s Plastic Recycling Neutralization program, it encourages customers to collect emptied Avon PET bottles and polybags and turn them over to local Avon representatives or drop them at the nearest collection site. Through Avon’s partnership with PLAF a women-led social enterprise that is striving to make a positive environmental and social impact, every collected plastic by-product will be turned into eco-lumber.

Avon’s Beauty+ initiative, offers sustainably produced everyday products. These include intimate apparel made of organic cotton and recyclable lace, accessories and watches made of PVC-free vegan leather, jewelry made of eco-resin, and reusable kitchen helpers.

Avon’s Watch Me Now tote bag is made of recycled canvas. Proceeds from every sale go to partner NGOs that are committed to creating a better world.

Avon Philippines’ Marketing Director, Anna Garces said “(W)e want to use our platform as a global brand to encourage sustainable living and invite every Filipino to take part in this initiative to make our country a better place for future generations.”
