TCL unveils its biggest TV yet

Viewers today are spoiled for choice in the number of shows that are now available at their fingertips. With TV technology evolving at a fast pace, people can now enjoy content at a better viewing quality and at lower prices.

However, if there is one thing that movie houses have that makes the viewing experience more immersive, it is the gigantic screen  it offers.

TCL hopes to replicate this viewing experience as it launches its 115-inch C7K QD-Mini LED TV, a flagship model for those who do not want any compromises in image quality at any price. The company’s largest and most advanced display to date, the new TV aims to become the benchmark for home theater viewing.

“Aside from giving a supersized TV experience, these TVs represent a significant leap forward in clarity and brightness, combining Quantum Dot technology with Mini LED backlighting to deliver ultra-precise contrast, vibrant colors, and deeper blacks, even in well-lit rooms. We engineered this to redefine true clarity—not just sharper visuals, but a picture that feels more alive, more real, and more responsive to everything you love to watch. See it for yourself and immerse in an ultra clarity experience,”  said Charlie Huang, deputy product director of Brownline, TCL Philippines.

Unlike LCD TVs which use a liquid crystal matrix for its screen, mini LED TVs feature an array of small LEDs which can be individually controlled. The smaller LEDs allow for a higher density, making for a sharper image.

Meanwhile, quantum dot technology allows for brighter screens and a wider color gamut, resulting in punchy, vibrant images. The TV also features over 3000 local dimming zones, minimizing light bloom and delivering better contrast between dark and bright areas on the screen.

For audio, the C7K has a Bang & Olufsen built-in 6.2.2-channel speaker array with 60W total power. While it might not be enough to tickle the ears of audiophiles, it is more than capable of providing a solid audio experience for casual viewing. There is also support for Dolby Atmos & DTS:X soundtracks, a number of preset sound modes and an equalizer where bass and treble can be adjusted.

Couch gamers are also in for a treat as the TV comes with a 144hz variable refresh rate in its 4K display, eliminating screen tearing, auto low latency mode for improved game responsiveness, Dolby Vision for HDR gaming, and even a built-in crosshair for first-person shooters.

“This launch is more than just the unveiling of a new product, it reflects TCL’s ongoing mission to elevate how Filipinos experience home entertainment,” said Joseph Cernitchez, TCL Philippines brand manager.

“We’re especially grateful to our partners at Abenson for helping bring this innovation closer to Filipino homes. The TCL 115” C7K QD-Mini LED TV represents the next level in immersive viewing, and we’re proud to make this milestone available through a strong and trusted retail partnership. We look forward to continuing to push boundaries and deliver exceptional value to our customers,” he added.
