Visiting instructor Ms. Mee Lee Casey once again shares her 33 years of knowledge and training on Porcelain Painting to beginners and art enthusiasts in a workshop starting June 25, 2024 every Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. The face-to-face workshop, to be conducted at Sunshine Place, has two sessions: 10:00 am — 12:30 pm and 1:30 pm — 4:00 pm. The full course consists of eight sessions.

Ms. Casey mastered her skills from travelling and training in various countries such as the UK, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Australia.

She brings the new art form in the Philippines, hence the first of its kind in the country.

Porcelain painting involves painting on glazed porcelain objects like plates, bowls, or vases.

In this class, students will learn about the materials, techniques, and the process of firing the plates in the kiln.

At the end of each session, the image is fired in a kiln and is meant to be worked on the next session. The same process is done until the desired output has been achieved.
