CDO-Foodsphere Inc., the home grown food company founded by entrepreneur Corazon Ong 45 years ago, recognizes the invaluable efforts of the men and women running the company’s manufacturing facilities.

To recognize the noble work of CDO employees who produce food for millions of Filipinos, musicians Divine Gil Reyes and Noel Mendez composed a special song for them which was aired on April 6, 2020.

The song titled “Salamat Sa’Yo” immediately drew people’s attention after it was posted on YouTube.

“Proudly sharing with all of you, as we try to inspire everyone to do what we can for our frontliners and employees in the fight versus Covid-19,” said CDO-Foodsphere president and CEO Jerome Ong in a statement.

Aside from recognizing CDO employees’ zeal to serve the people, the song also highlights the company’s solidarity with frontliners to contain the pandemic.

For top management, the greatest asset of the company is its people.  “The reason behind the success of the company is the support and commitment of our people,” said Ong.

Ong said that during this challenging time, the company has to go the extra mile and have a bigger heart to provide people with food and support the unsung heroes.

CDO is supporting the government’s efforts to provide food to the Filipino people during the crisis.

“This song aims to recognize the ‘malasakit’ in every CDO employee for being there to help the company produce and deliver food products to Filipino homes especially in this challenging period,” said Ong.
