Power couple Paolo and Rachelle Bravo has put so much effort into what the Ní‰W (Nail, Eyelash and Wellness) Lounge is today. The lounge, which provides a rejuvenating spa-like experience, has 17 branches, remains to be a leading and trusted beauty expert, and the leading eyelash extension provider in the country.
From nine employees when they started out, their workforce has grown to 135 employees nationwide and it is expected to grow more this year.
The lounge formed partnerships with the SSI Group for itsGlorietta4 and Bonifacio High Street branches as well as with the Edsa Shangri-la, Shangri-la at the Fort and Shangri-la Mactan, Cebu. It became the go-to for A-listers, influencers, top celebrities, and important personalities.
It all began with the topnotch lashes complemented with signature hospitality of the staff.
The lounge has talented teams running the brand and, more importantly, customers already hooked by its products and services.
Always a game changer, the lounge continuously evolves because of its believers. At the event held at the 205 in Bonifacio High Street, two of Ní‰W Lounge’s ambassadors Sirene Sutton and Katarina Rodriguez shared their stories on how they started their journey with the brand.
“It’s really a great family to be part of, they’ve created such a great atmosphere and an opportunity for many people to be creative, to be themselves,” Rodriguez said, adding she loves the brand’s values, and that Bravo didn’t leave anyone behind during the pandemic.
“I remember talking with Rachelle and she told me how they wanted to continue supporting their employees despite the difficulties,” she mentioned, “and that’s when I knew I’ve found my mentor in life not just in my career but also as a mother because we were pregnant.”
Meanwhile, fashion blogger Bryanboy, the very definition of a fabulous evolution and the perfect face and eyes to represent an equally game-changing brand, is the newest member of Ní‰W Lounge.
The now-certified lash doll said his relationship with Rachelle started with nails. He was quarantined at a hotel in Manila last November and since he was there for seven days, he askedhis Instagram followers where he could get his nails done.
Some of his friends suggested the very chic lounge in the Bonifacio Global City. Bavo, who was also in the lounge that time, told Bryanboy, who never dd lashes before, that he should try the lashes.
“And then it just changed everything. I went to Paris Hilton’s wedding two weeks later and saw the pictures and I was like this is like a different person; it is not me because my eyes are wide, and its incredible what lashes can do to your face and life,” he said.
Bryanboy feels like the lounge represents the best of the best when it comes to Filipino aesthetics and the service that it provides and bringing it global is something the lounge would love to do, and the owners are ready for it.
It’s all about inclusivity at the lounge; it’s not just for its lash dolls but also for every queen in between, they said.
Bravo, president and chief executive officer of the lounge, always gets the first impression “this is life-changing” from clients trying out the latest beauty obsession — eyelash extensions.
Optimistic, Bravo also said that NEW Lounge will make a full recovery. “We do adhere to established safety protocols as we carefully navigate the better normal.”
Products and services to look forward are the hypoallergenic glue, new lash design, and cafe and cocktail lounge at Bonifacio High Street. “We love coming up with new concepts and we’re always evolving our offerings to keep up with our growing market,” she noted.
