Aligned with Fire Prevention Month, the 4th Nationwide Simultaneous Fire Drill on High-Density Occupancies was conducted across SM Bulacan malls in partnership with the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP). This initiative was a key component of the month’s activities, designed to bolster community awareness and understanding of vital fire safety practices.
The initiative took place at SM City Marilao, SM City Baliwag, and SM Center Pulilan, featuring educational and interactive activities tailored for mall employees, agency personnel and tenants. The event included live fire extinguisher demonstrations, fire safety workshops led by BFP experts, and emergency evacuation drills, equipping attendees with essential skills and knowledge for fire emergency situations.
The event also highlighted the strong collaboration between SM Supermalls and the BFP, showcasing a concerted effort towards safety and preparedness.
