SEAMEO INNOTECH welcomed multi-awarded actor John Lloyd Cruz as he visited SEAMEO INNOTECH’s White Room Gallery on Thursday. The ‘King of Contemporary Cinema’ is one of the participating artists in the upcoming group art exhibition by the gallery, entitled “Screenscapes.”
Screenscapes will feature an ensemble of art pieces by prominent actors, directors and filmmakers, transcending the boundaries between entertainment and visual arts. In line with INNOTECH’s commitment to innovation, technology and the arts, Cruz is expected to showcase a mixed media art featuring a collection of photographs and video installation.
Other participating artists are equally acclaimed figures in the Philippine entertainment industry, including Maria Isabel Lopez, Reb Belleza, Lotlot De Leon, Baron Geisler, Leandro Baldemor, Shamaine Buencamino, Nina Ricci Alagao Flores, John Paul Duray, Ernie Garcia, Jeanette Kamphuis, Jao Mapa, Sandino Martin, Melissa Mendez, Elizabeth Oropesa, Evangeline Pascual, Epy Quizon, Cris Villanueva, Jet Rai, and Director Louie Ignacio.
Art enthusiasts and curious creatives may visit Screenscapes which will be on display until January 17.
Located at the Center’s International House in Commonwealth Avenue, Diliman Quezon City. The White Room Gallery was launched last 2023, and has recently concluded two exhibitions, namely: UGMA and Don We Now Our Gay Apparel.
