Filinvest Land Inc. (FLI), a subsidiary of Filinvest Development Corp. (FDC), is enhancing its resort-style community offerings with Sydney Oasis, the inaugural mid-rise condominium project in Bacoor City. Modeled after its Australian namesake, Sydney Oasis emulates the scenic charm of Sydney Harbor.

Part of the Aspire by Filinvest brand, Sydney Oasis represents a new standard in mid-rise living, blending modern conveniences with vibrant, resort-like amenities. The development includes a contemporary clubhouse, upgraded tech-ready units, and increased green spaces. Key features are the new Sky Lounge and a variety of other welcoming amenities.

Sydney Oasis allocates 60 to 70 percent of its area to open, airy spaces, aiming to elevate relaxation and quality of life. The Sky Lounge, positioned atop the first building, offers panoramic sunset and cityscape views.

Set on a 1.59-hectare site, the community will consist of four 12-story buildings that balance style and sustainability.

Located in the burgeoning city of Bacoor, Cavite, Sydney Oasis benefits from Bacoor’s rich cultural heritage and advancing infrastructure, establishing it as a gateway to the Metro.

In an exclusive interview with Malaya Business Insight, Aven Valderrama, first vice president and regional general manager for National Capital Region mid-rise buildings and housing, described Sydney Oasis as a pioneering resort-style development for Bacoor.

Resort-inspired living in BacoorValderrama emphasized the project’s focus on open spaces, noting that 60 to 70 percent of the land is dedicated to such areas, highlighting its commitment to sustainability and proper ventilation.

Valderrama explained that each project in the Oasis line aims to echo the appeal of renowned resort destinations. While past projects were inspired by European locations, Sydney was chosen for its relaxed lifestyle, which aligns with the development’s vision.

“Australia’s blend of work and leisure influenced our design, reflecting the coastal ambiance and urban environment of Sydney,” she said.

The development will offer studio units for young professionals and two-bedroom units for small families, with studio sizes around 22 square meters and two-bedroom units approximately 40 square meters, she noted. Each unit is carefully crafted with modern features, including smart locks and mirrors, moisture repellent paint, and ceramic tiling, highlighting contemporary living in a green setting.

Construction is expected to be completed over the next four to five years, Valderrama mentioned.

The expansion to Bacoor aligns with FLI’s strategy to explore markets outside the NCR, where high land costs drive up condo prices. “By moving to Bacoor, we provide affordable units and value, tapping into a new market,” Valderrama added.

The property is conveniently close to the city center, and a unique feature includes a roof deck converted into a park-like space for residents.

“The location, resort-like atmosphere, and amenities make this an ideal place to live,” Valderrama concluded.

For his part, Strike Revilla, city mayor of Bacoor, remarked that Sydney Oasis is one of the significant investments in their city.
