The EDSA commute has become more exciting as a giant 3D Whale Shark has taken over SM Megamall’s LED billboard along the thoroughfare. This is the country’s first High Definition (HD) and three-dimensional immersive content in a form of a whale shark crashing out of the LED billboard.

With over 1,950 whale sharks or locally known as butanding, the Philippines has the 2nd largest population of whale sharks in the world. Whale shark sightings and interactions, usually in Leyte, Tubbataha, Donsol, and Oslob, are considered some of the top summer activities among local and foreign tourists alike. The 3D Whale Shark show at SM Megamall EDSA LED billboard runs until the end of July daily from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM with 30 minutes intervals.
