THE public can avail of the free medical services of the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) in the Bagong Pilipinas Service Fair, which was launched during the weekend, chairman Junie Cua said.
Cua joined President Marcos, Jr. and other government officials during the service caravan’s launch in Camarines Sur last Saturday. It was also launched simultaneously in Laoag, Ilocos Norte for Luzon; Tolosa town in Leyte for the Visayas, and in the municipality of Monkayo, Davao de Oro for Mindanao.
The Bagong Pilipinas Service Fair features the “Kadiwa ng Pangulo” program for easy public access to affordable food and other goods, Passport on Wheels, driver’s license registration and assistance, national ID registration, and applications for Pag-IBIG Fund, National Bureau of Investigation and police clearance.
“Sumama rin po ang PCSO para ipaalam sa mga kababayan natin na maaari silang humingi ng tulong sa ahensiya (The PCSO has joined the caravan so people can also avail of our services),” Cua said.
“Ang ating Medical Access Program ay nagbibigay ng tulong pinansyal sa mga kababayan natin para sa iba’t ibang sakit, medical at laboratory procedure. Bukod pa po ito sa iba’t ibang donasyon ng PCSO sa mga LGU, ospital, at iba pang ahensya ng pamahalaan (Our Medical Access Program provides financial assistance for various illnesses, and medical and laboratory procedures. This is on top of our remittances to local government units [LGUs], hospitals and other government agencies),” Cua added.
Cua assured the public that the PCSO will continue working hard to support the Marcos administration’s commitment of heartfelt service to the people.
“Patuloy po tayong makikipagtulungan, sa ilalim ng bandera ng pagkakaisa, para maitaguyod ang kapakanan ng mga kababayan natin (We will continue to provide the necessary assistance to the public under the government’s vision of unity),” he said.
“Programs such as the Bagong Pilipinas Service Fair have a positive impact on our communities. Dahil sa mga programang ganito na gobyerno mismo ang lumalapit sa mga tao, nabibigyan ng agarang solusyon ang mga problemang hinaharap ng mga kababayan natin (Programs like this provide immediate assistance to the people who need the help of the government),” Cua said.
“I am confident that this government has more programs in store for the people,” he added.
