The widespread adoption of technological innovations has led to the rise of a new breed of travelers. Dubbed digital nomads, these people are relatively young individuals who mix travel and work, hopping across different cities while staying connected to the internet for their deliverables.
Co-living brand Lyf aims to be the home of choice for these digital nomads as it offers a modern mix of amenities and services that addresses the essential needs of today’s modern travelers. Following the opening of its first property in the heart of Manila, Lyf has now brought its modern charm to the Queen City of the South, Cebu City.

Lyf Cebu can be found at the Base Line Center at the heart of Cebu City and a short walk away from the Fuente Osmena Park. This area offers a mix of commercial, residential, and recreational spaces, creating a dynamic environment, which can be attractive for individuals seeking a balance between work and lifestyle. It also makes Lyf Cebu the perfect jump-off point for backpackers to explore the city thanks to its easy access to public transportation.
At the entry are a series of lockers available to guests. Dubbed the Stowaway, these lockers allow guests to leave their things in a safe environment when they decide to take a few days off to visit the northern or southern areas of the island.

Taking the elevator to the fifth floor brings guests to the beating heart of Lyf Cebu. The doors slide open to reveal the check-in counter and concierge where guests get their room keycards. The knowledgeable staff are also willing to answer any questions regarding the property and the city and are eager to recommend destinations that would appeal to the interests of guests.
Community plays a significant role in the Lyf property and this is highlighted by the numerous social spaces that can be found on the 5th floor. The Connect area is the property’s Coworking Space and Communal Lounge which provides an area for collaboration, networking, and a sense of community for today’s modern digital workers. It also offers a meeting room that can be rented out for more collaborative functions without disturbing other people in the coworking space. For those who prefer to work alone, the Nook is a series of private working spaces where introverts can be productive.

The Wash and Hang is the Social Launderette. Guests can laze about in the hammocks or enjoy a drink from the vending machines as they wait for the self-serve laundry machines to finish their wash and dry cycles. Meanwhile, Bond is the shared kitchen which is stocked with all the essential kitchen equipment needed to whip up a complete meal. After taking a bite, guests can then go to the Burn Gym to get their fitness fix.
Lyf also offers multiple room options for its guests. The One of a Kind is a cozy studio unit that is a perfect fit for the solo traveler. It comes with a queen-sized bed with an outlet on the ledge beside it, allowing guests to use their smartphones comfortably while charging. There is an en-suite bathroom with a rainfall showerhead with organic botanical body wash, shampoo, and conditioners available in large pump bottles.

Meanwhile, the twin sharing room comes in two configurations — the side by side and feet to feet. It also comes with all the amenities that are standard in Lyf. Finally, the All Together is a massive 4-bedroom layout complete with its own kitchen and living area, making it the perfect space for larger families or groups of friends.

Unlike resort hotels which aim to provide a luxurious stay for their guests, Lyf instead empowers its guests to live an independent lifestyle. In Lyf Cebu, the modern and vibrant energy it exudes makes guests feel at home and mingle with others to build a sense of community inside the property.
