Longchamp and Filt have revisited and added a new twist to two iconic bags: Le Pliage and the essential string shopping bag. The two French Maisons are joining forces in a collaboration.
When the two family companies with the “Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant” label (the Excellence of French Know-How), Longchamp and Filt, come together, the result is inevitably a surprise. Take, on the one hand, the famous Le Pliage produced in the Loire Valley Longchamp workshops, and on the other, the iconic Filt string shopping bag, manufactured in Normandy since 1860.
These two unique Textile and Leather French Savoir-Faire bring spirit to an offbeat collector’s item. This hybrid design is available in six colors, adopts the large mesh of the string shopping bag and is adorned with the Russian leather handles and flap of the Le Pliage bag. Signature details add a touch of sophistication and make it the must-have bag for Summer 2021.
