Isla LPG Corp, Yokohama Tire PH team up for more sustainable business operations

Isla LPG Corporation, the country’s leading LPG brand has partnered with Yokohama Tire Philippines, Inc. (YTPI) to explore innovative solutions that aim to reduce carbon emissions and optimize operating costs. This strategic partnership leverages the expertise of both companies to develop sustainable and efficient practices within their respective industry.

YTPI stressed the importance of partnering with ISLA LPG Corporation as a collaboration of two companies with a common goal.  “Our partnership with Isla LPG Corp marks a significant milestone on sustainability and efficiency” said YTPI President and CEO Atsushi Funayama. “This is a crucial step in our company to decide and transition from diesel-powered boiler, to LPG” added Funayama. With the conversion to LPG, YTPI will be producing lower emission while ensuring their maximum capacity in terms of their production.

“Many years ago, we realize the possibility of using LPG as a cleaner alternative fuel and with the economics of this process improving, more and more clients have begun to use LPG for their manufacturing facilities.,” said Jose Antonio Gonzalez, Isla LPG Corporation Chief Commercial Officer. “We are so excited about this opportunity to partner with YTPI as we work together in reducing carbon footprint and achieving our sustainability targets,” he added.

YTPI’s commitment to provide their customers with quality products is aligned with Isla LPG Corp as the latter can tailor its services and infrastructure solutions to meet the specific operational requirements of YTPI, ensuring a seamless integration of LPG into their existing processes.
