Leading consumer electronics brand and the top panel television brand TCL has proudly introduced its latest innovation, the TCL Free Built-In Refrigerator, marking the brand’s debut in the cross-door category.
Shae Yu, marketing head at TCL Philippines, stated that the new product seamlessly combines cutting-edge technology with a sleek, modern design, transforming one’s kitchen into a space of effortless functionality.
“The TCL Free Built-In Refrigerator isn’t just an appliance — it’s a major step forward for TCL,” Yu also said, highlighting the company’s commitment to enhancing everyday living with smart and stylish solutions.
Joseph Cernitchez, brand manager at TCL Philippines, shared that TCL started its refrigerator business in 2021 and has seen a year-on-year growth of 192 percent from 2022 to 2023.
“We’re pleased that TCL has become a trusted name in Filipino homes; we are the leader in panel TVs and a global TV powerhouse,” Cernitchez said. “But our focus extends beyond screens.”

During the live cooking demo, online favorite chef Myke Tatung and popular mommy content creator Joyce Pring-Triviño teamed up to showcase the advanced features and practical applications of the new refrigerator in a real-world kitchen setting.
Joyce shared three things she likes about the new product. First, the key fresh technology that keeps food — vegetables and fruits — fresher for longer, ideal for someone who buys fresh produce weekly; second, the pure air technology keeps seafood odorless; and lastly, the refrigerator combines quality, beautiful design, and innovative features while ensuring low energy consumption, so there’s no need to worry.
“As a mom who always thinks about purchasing good appliances that live up to their promises, this was very important to me,” Joyce stated.
On Myke’s part, he appreciates the refrigerator’s size because “size matters” to him. “If you misestimate the size of your refrigerator, you’ll end up cooking and eating it, which isn’t healthy.”
Another point he highlighted was that inappropriate sizes can be very costly and disruptive to budgeting. “You might think you can store it for later, but you’ll need to use it now.”
Lastly, the new refrigerator helps avoid food wastage. “It’s important for our homes and businesses to be very responsible with food resources,” Myke said.
