SM City Manila spreads Holiday Christmas Cheer with creative centerpieces, festive performances, fun with Santa, and sharing with cute and cuddly Bears of Joy.
No less than Manila Mayor Honey Lacuna graced the Christmas Tree lighting with Vice Mayor Yul Servo Nieto. Also present to witness the lighting of the 51-ft red and gold Christmas tree were Manila City District 5 officials lead by Brgy. chairwoman Carol Malabag, as well as councilors Jaybee Hizon, Laris Borromeo, Charry Ortega, Raymundo “Mon” Yupangco, Ricardo “Boy” Isip Jr. and Roberto “Bobby” Espiritu II.
Manila City Hall officials also came in full force: Engineer Armand Andres, Richard Zacarias of Business Permits and License, city health officer Arnold Pangan, communications head Atty. Pricilla Marie Abante-Barquia, and Levi Facundo of the bureau of permits. SM Supermalls AVP for mall operations John Brian Tarnate, AVP for marketing Jay Aranas, and SM City Manila assistant mall manager Kimberly N. Razal welcomed them.
SM City Manila invites shoppers for Christmas activities on December 11: the Santa Meet and Greet from 3 to 5pm at the event center, the KidsMas Costume contest at 3pm, and caroling by the Sonshine Philippines Movement Caroling at 1pm.
SM’s Bears of Joy will also help bring joy to family and friends with special messages like: World’s Best Dad, the Greatest Mom, the Sweetest Sister, and the Coolest Brother. They are encouraged to share the holiday cheer by buying a bear to be donated to a child in need for only P250.00.
