Sitel Group, a global leader in end-to-end customer experience (CX) products and solutions, brought smiles and laughter to the children and youth of the charitable non-government organization, Bethesda International Ministries in Tuding, Itogon. The team visited with hot meals and donations of rice, slippers, personal hygiene items and cleaning and sanitation supplies. Alongside the donations, 13 members of the Sitel Baguio Team donned costumes of famous theatrical superheroes much to the delight of the kids.

Led by Vice President for Operations Ian Zafra, Sitel Baguio brought donations and spent the afternoon with the wards of Bethesda. The institution provides a home for children and youth who have been orphaned, neglected or abandoned by their families.

Zafra and Tori Padua, HR Administrative Assistant, made the visit more exciting for the kids by donning costumes from Transformers namely Optimus Prime and Bumblebee. Other members of the team, Marie Arellano, Arlene Joy Ligot, Senior Operations Manager; Kate Valerie Basawil, IT Supervisor; and Nadja Mae Naje, Senior Process Improvement Manager, also represented the DC franchise and dressed up as Wonder Woman, Bat Girl, Super Girl, and Cat Woman respectively. Being able to bring donations for the children was amazing, but spending time with them, seeing their faces light up when they saw the superheroes arrive, and just seeing them happy was priceless,” said Zafra. “We’re happy to be able to give back to the community in our own little way.”
