Health protocol compliance starts with self-care

ORGANIQUE has joined the Department of Health’s (DOH) BIDA Solusyon campaign that calls on the public to comply with health protocols to prevent the transmission of the novel coronavirus.

Boosting one’s health becomes more than self-empowerment and can become a means to extend protection to loved ones and the community. A healthy physiological system makes for a formidable complement with the BIDA practices.

“This well-rounded approach to health is essential, now more than ever, as we face a threat with no known cure yet,” said Cathy Salimbangon, president and chief executive officer of Organique Inc.

While there are currently no medications that can eliminate COVID-19, there are steps one can take to ensure physiological and immunological defenses will be strong.

As a medical practitioner, Dr. Sonny Villoria, integrative medicine specialist and wellness expert, knows the importance of boosting one’s immune system. As BIDA can provide external protection, health supplements like Organique can help provide some form of internal protection.

Dr. Beverly Ho, director IV of Health Promotion and Communication Service of the DOH’s Public Health Services Team, welcomed the partnership with Organique to bring BIDA’s message to every Filipino, stressing the need to go beyond communication and advertisements to reach different communities.

At the virtual launch, Organique pledged to help build consumer confidence through the mass implementation of BIDA’s objectives.

Besides applying the BIDA guidelines every day, Salimbangon said its pillars will be shared in Organique’s various platforms online to spread these simple yet important practices to fight the COVID-19.

Organique ImmunoCare Kits will be distributed to vulnerable sectors of the community. The kit contains immunity-boosting Acai Premium Blend as well as bottles of alcohol, masks, face shields and BIDA posters and flyers.

Salimbangon said Organique is in a position to do more to curb the spread of the COVID-19.
