Quezon City is vast and, as such, the market for the seventh Landers branch in U.P. Town Center along Katipunan Avenue in Quezon City is remarkably different from that in Balintawak.
“It sits right in the middle of two prestigious universities, and it is possible that people who come here don’t frequent the other side of Quezon City where our Balintawak site is,” Lukman said.
“We want to expand here because we see a demand for the premium shopping we offer.
People crave for something new,” Lukman also said. “We can finally bring the top-quality goods — especially the imported ones they’ve been looking for — without them having to travel far.”
“We also offer a good escape from the daily grind. Our space is like an oasis in the concrete jungle,” Lukman added. Here, they can take a break, relax, and shop to their heart’s content or feast on its delicious food selection.
Landers U.P. Town Center is the first mall-based membership store which means more convenience for its members since they can easily fit in a visit after shopping or watching a movie. Some of the exclusive products available are also especially curated to fit the lifestyle and needs of the people who frequent U. P. Town Center.
The interior design of Landers U.P. Town Center features a modern industrial farmhouse design concept using slate tiles, mosaic penny tiles, and high-grade polished concrete flooring.
“We gave certain areas a warm and cozy feel by the treatment of bricks and light wood.
Lights are custom designed per area complementing the look and style,” Lukman shared.
Landers U.P. Town Center covers around 10,000 square meters of combined retail and dining area. These provide ample space for its members to move and explore its exclusive offerings.
The store construction started in the first quarter of 2022 and opened in August 2022. “We are looking to open two to four more stores this year,” Lukman noted.
Building more stores in Metro Manila and in the provinces is being eyed, so Landers can bring its premium brand of membership shopping closer to more Filipinos.
