FedCenter, a leading social enterprise focused on enhancing financial knowledge through training and development, has introduced the WAGI (Wealth for Growth and Inclusion) app.
This free, user-friendly platform offers practical and relevant financial content tailored to Filipinos’ everyday lives, covering everything from basic budgeting to stock investing.
The app delivers lessons in engaging, bite-sized modules, featuring quick finance tips from successful personalities and celebrities.
Users can take post-learning tests after each module to reinforce their understanding. Notably, test scores are converted into reward points, which can be redeemed for prizes from various partner establishments, including popular fast food chains.
Marc Christian Gule, president of FedCenter, stated, “This app will democratize financial literacy and significantly enhance the financial well-being of all Filipinos.”
Francisco Mauricio, president and chief operating officer of WeFund, operator of the JuanHand app, added, “Financial literacy paves the way for inclusion, which ultimately leads to financial empowerment, and financial empowerment is a cornerstone of national development.”
The WAGI app is designed to make financial education accessible, enjoyable, and rewarding.
