‘Empower Her Palette’, supported by Lim, not only aims to spotlight the vibrant and diverse voices of Filipina and French women artists, but also provides a platform for their unique stories, perspectives, and experiences. Through this event, the organizers seek to amplify their artistic contributions and advocate for broader recognition and appreciation within the art community. By immersing the audience in transformative narratives of resilience, healing, and personal growth conveyed through paintings, the exhibit hopes to inspire and empower viewers. The power of self-expression, as vividly displayed in each piece, aims to motivate others to explore their own creativity and find personal empowerment through art.

French Ambassador Marie Fontanel said, “I am delighted to see women artists from our two countries coming together. By welcoming the French artists Sandra Palomar and Amélie Béral, who take us each in their artistic world, as we allow these artists of our two countries to exchange and to initiate future collaborations. France and the Philippines are very attached to the dialogue of cultures, to common artistic creations, as has often happened here and in the world. Throughout the month of March, I decided to highlight every day on our social networks, portraits of French women who have distinguished themselves in many fields. I am delighted that in the visual arts sector, we can welcome two French artists to SM Podium. Come and discover their work and exchange with them! Enjoy the National Women’s Month!”

“At its heart, the exhibition is a powerful showcase of women’s creativity, resilience, and their vast potential. It is our hope that the works on display by Filipina and French artists will spark conversation and action around the journey of all women towards equality and empowerment,” said SM Supermalls President Steven Tan.

“By showcasing works from both Filipina and French artists, the event has the potential to bridge cultural divides. Shared experiences of resilience, healing, and emotional resonance depicted through art can foster greater empathy and appreciation for diverse perspectives, leading to a more connected and understanding global community,” explained Maica Teves, Executive Director of SPARK! Philippines.
