SM City Manila has officially launched Christmas last October 29. This year’s Carnival theme forwards the idea of fun, excitement and amusement.
The event featured elements of the Ferris Wheel, Gigantic Teddy Bear and an actual mechanical carousel. Carts selling stuffed toys, popcorn, candies and chocolates spiced up the Carnival which included a crane arcade game on the side. Also featured were dining pods at the designated dining area.
The launch started with an introduction by Jaz Estorinos, followed by the SM Christmas message, and next was a message of hope by the LGU representative of City of Manila.
The Christmas tree lighting countdown followed as all the LGU representatives and the SM management team gathered on stage. Stilt Walker Philippines performed a Christmas presentation featuring a juggling exhibition, cube twirling and stilt walking.
