SUNSHINE Place is bringing back its Chair Dance workshops every Tuesdays from 3 to 4 p.m. with Danny Vinculado, this time in in-person setting. While chair dancing is for everyone, it is most beneficial to those who are wheelchair bound, in walkers, with hip and lower leg injury or those who underwent medical procedures. Chair dancing is designed to loosen tight joints, muscles, and frozen shoulders. It allows the participants to sweat and revive their energy and happy hormones.

Dance instructor Danny Vinculado started dancing at a young age with the Ramon Obusan Folkloric Dance Group. He widened his knowledge and interest in dance through studying Ballet, Jazz, Folk and Contemporary dance in the Philippines and abroad. He became part of the Metropolitan Dance Theater and Hotlegs as a choreographer, and has been associated with Bodytalk, Dance Masters, and Hamstrings.
Danny Vinculado, has been working with Sunshine Place for more than five years on developing elderly-age appropriate dances only available at Sunshine Place. Aside from Chair Dancing, he conducts lessons on Yeba-Indak — unique healthy exercise program featuring OPM music and folk-dance steps and Tap Dancing where shares his expertise on Broadway choreography.
