Celebrity mom is winning at parenting

In what is to be the greatest true-to-life role she will ever portray, Anne Curtis Smith Heussaff is back in the Philippines as a doting mom to her daughter Dahlia. “Anne Pagbabalik” is real, with her career commitments back in full swing, but this time, she says she has a different priority in mind.

“Sometimes I still can’t believe that I’m now one of those celebrity moms I look up to,” Curtis said as she has realized celebrity moms are really heroes in terms of managing their career and time for family. So, she really needs to manage her time and make sure she comes home before her daughter Dahlia’s dinner.

Quality time with her family gives her such a thrill. She feels exhilarated every time she sees Dahlia and husband Erwan doing things together. “When Erwan would prepare dinner for Dahlia, she would want to be there beside her papa and would automatically do these cute little dances and gestures that are just so adorable.”

She talked about the bond between father and child. “They’re like twins! Sometimes I get jealous,” she bantered. “Dahlia really looks like her papa, but I’d like to believe she got everything else from her mama. Even her love for K-pop! Every time she hears the BTS’ Dynamite, for instance, she’ll really dance!”

One of her latest collaborations is with food and grocery delivery platform, foodpanda, with its catchy popstar concept which Curtis said she really liked filming. “That was so fun to shoot, and I miss singing. That’s why when food and grocery delivery platform reached out to me and told me about the concept, I said yes right away!”

Anne also noted the timeliness and relevance of food and grocery delivery platform in making sure more Filipinos stay safe by staying home and ordering online.

“Food delivery is really what everyone needs right now, especially during these times. I also noticed that there are a lot of home-based sellers on the food and grocery delivery platform and that they support small local businesses,” she stressed.

“That’s important to me that behind the fun concepts, it’s really about endorsing a brand that is relevant to people now and it’s something I would personally use, especially when the chef’s busy at home,” she explained.

For Curtis, the food and grocery delivery platform is a big help for busy moms like her. “It’s so helpful to have all essentials conveniently delivered at my door.”

She recently launched a new baby essentials brand with Solenn Heussaff. “This is something close to my heart because these are products Dahlia and her (Solenn’s) daughter Tili can use,” she added.
