The Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP) further expands its Kaisa sa Sining (KSS) network of regional arts centers with the confirmation of four (4) new member organizations for the first half of 2025, namely the Province of South Cotabato, Capiz State University, Colegio San Agustin Bacolod, and Don Bosco Tarlac.
Launched in 2014, the KSS is a network of regional partners composed of educational institutions, local government units, and non-government organizations. Since then, it has broadened public participation in the arts, promoted and showcased artistic excellence and facilitated vibrant collaborations between and among communities.
South Cotabato is known for its diverse cultural heritage, which includes numerous indigenous groups such as the T’boli and B’laan who are famous for their traditional crafts, particularly T’nalak weaving made from abaca fibers and features intricate designs inspired by dreams and spirituality.
The Capiz State University (CAPSU) focuses on four major functions – Instruction, Research, Extension, and Production. It extends its programs to the community, accelerating the intellectual, cultural, and moral growth of the students and young people in the institution.
Established on July 8, 1962, Colegio San Agustin Bacolod (CSAB) is a Filipino Augustinian school that aims to foster a community life that is of one mind and one heart on the way to God.
The first Salesian educational institution founded in 1947 in Tarlac, Don Bosco Tarlac is a private Catholic school that envisions a community of competent, resilient, and committed servant leaders.
Soon to be confirmed are the alliances with the Mindanao State University Sulu, Notre Dame of Jolo College, and Ateneo de Zamboanga. The institutional collaborations signify a significant expansion of Kaisa sa Sining’s reach and impact, fostering greater artistic collaboration and cultural exchange across the Philippines.
