Pia Wurtzbach may have won Miss Universe back in 2015 yet she still continues to inspire everyone with her beauty and strength. On her YouTube channel, it took so much strength for Wurtzbach to talk about her struggles growing up and during her reign as Miss Universe in 2015.

It was the first time that Wurtzbach opened up about her mental health struggles in public, wanting to paint a picture not of a perfect beauty queen, but of a real person with real-life experiences.

“I was determined to stay strong, to continue my mission, my purpose, and to turn things around,” she said. “I wanted to face my demons and finally take care of my heart, something which I didn’t do or never cared to do.”

This was the topic of the talk hosted by Issa Litton where Wurtzbach was introduced as the face of Ultherapy. Sharing the stage with Drs. Edgardo Juan Tolentino and Irene Gaile Robredo-Vitas, Wurtzbach recounted what it took for her to overcome those challenges.

Tolentino, a psychiatrist, shared a more current perspective, how these challenges have been amplified with the pandemic and how people can help themselves to find ways to cope. One of which is self-care.

Philippine Board-Certified Dermatologist Robredo-Vitas said when patients are stressed or want to relax, they go and get some me-time. What is important is that they see and feel the difference in the treatments they get.

That is why they keep on coming back for Ultherapy, which has more than two million treatments worldwide and over 95 percent patient satisfaction one year after treatment rating. Ultherapy is the only non-invasive ultrasound treatment that allows one to SEE below the skin’s surface, promoting safe and effective treatments.

Ultherapy remains as the gold standard in skin lifting and tightening on the brows, chin, and neck areas, and improves lines on the décolletage.

Jorge Libanan, Merz Philippines general manager, shared the first ever aesthetic app in the Philippines, the Merz Aesthetic Serendipity Journey or MASJ MYSELF app, proving how the company continues to be driven by a purpose: to fuel confidence and help Filipinos look better, feel better and live better.

Ultherapy’s new campaign #AllItTakesIsU focuses on overall confidence, feeling it inside and out.
