Bringing Japanese favorites closer to diners

The past year has been a struggle for most in the restaurant category and Japanese cuisine was one of the most significantly affected by the quarantine restrictions as most people tend to enjoy it by dining in. While restrictions were still extended this year, Tokyo Tokyo was able to pivot its business and change the way they offered their Japanese food to their customers.

Late last year, they launched their online delivery website www.tokyotokyodelivery.ph. This year, they started opening “Tokyo Tokyo Express Stores”. These trailer-sized stores offer only takeout and delivery but they have made Tokyo Tokyo favorites such as Prawn Tempura Bento, Beef Misono Bento, California Maki, and their signature Red Iced tea much more accessible and convenient to order.

The design of their trailer stores was inspired by their new lifestyle design stores but translated into a food truck. While some products in their regular menu are not available here, you can expect most of their Bento meals, Donburi, and even Ramen to be available in their Express stores.

As of today, Tokyo Tokyo now has around 30 of their “Express Stores” around the metro and has plans to open more for the rest of the year. This has allowed the brand to thrive during this pandemic and continue to reach and satisfy more and more customers that are craving delicious Japanese food.

You can order Tokyo Tokyo via their website, www.tokyotokyodelivery.ph, hotline at #TOKYO (#86596), takeout or through Grabfood and Foodpanda
