Breaking barriers with Acer’s new campaign

Acer aims to showcase Filipino talent and bridge the gap between people and technology through its new brand ambassador, G22 — a three-member P-pop group composed of AJ, Alfea, and Jaz.

At the press and media conference held in the Murphy Room of Conrad Manila in Pasay City, Princess Laosantos, senior marketing manager of Acer Philippines, stated that the company is committed to welcoming new ambassadors and sharing their journey, particularly in the entertainment industry. By doing so, Acer hopes to highlight the potential of Filipino creativity and innovation.

G22 shared their experiences as Acer Philippines ambassadors, including performing on stage with major artists and collaborating with them.

At the annual Acer Day 2024 celebration, the group described the concert day as a dream come true and said they still feel like they are dreaming. “It was so amazing — the opportunity we had to collaborate with incredible artists and have the stage to perform our songs… we’re so grateful, and it’s truly a milestone for us.”

When the group saw the people outside, they were nervous but at the same time thankful to Acer for giving them the opportunity to work with other Acer ambassadors such as Sandara Park, SB19, and other artists.

The group highlighted their best experiences as Acer ambassadors, such as the bus tour where Acer brought them to various malls to showcase their talents to new audiences. “As a group that’s just starting, it’s a big help for us to have people watch us,” they said. Another highlight was the chance to perform alongside other major artists.

“Being given a platform to endorse has helped us overcome self-doubt,” they added. “We have moved past being fragile and vulnerable, and now we are empowered and coming out with strength. With the tagline ‘AI’m Limitless,’ it’s already an incredible achievement, and we are so proud.”

The group mentioned that their involvement isn’t just about collaboration but also about learning from fellow artists — observing their work ethics, performance styles, and overall approach.

They also noted that Acer is very welcoming, passionate, and warm. “As a group with a message of empowerment and encouragement, it aligns with Acer’s message. As G22, we’re all limitless — you can pursue whatever you want and love to do.”

The group also shared their appreciation for the quality of Acer’s products, which reflects the quality they strive to achieve as a group.

Reflecting on their project with Acer, they expressed their surprise and gratitude for the support and belief shown in them. “We were so shocked by the amount of belief they have in us. We’re truly grateful for their support and for being part of our journey. We are honored and we love them.”

G22 officially debuted on February 25, 2022, with their first single “Bang.” Since then, they have released six original songs and a cover of Dionela’s “Musika.” Acer is G22’s first major brand partnership.

The theme for Acer Day 2024 was “AI’m Limitless,” which invited consumers and artists like G22 to explore Acer’s latest Artificial Intelligence (AI)-powered products. These innovations are designed to enhance user experiences and unlock new possibilities. As part of Acer Day 2024, G22 introduced their new track “Limitless,” composed by PABLO from SB19 and produced by RADKIDZ.
