ArenaPlus, the 24/7 sports betting app, proudly joined the nation in celebrating Olympic double gold medalist and ArenaPlus ambassador Carlos Yulo, along with other Filipino Olympians, during the Manila Homecoming Parade on August 14.
The parade honored the 22 outstanding Filipino athletes who competed and excelled at the 2024 Paris Olympics. It started at Aliw Theater in Pasay City and concluded at the Rizal Memorial Sports Complex, with the procession passing through Roxas Boulevard, P. Burgos Avenue, Finance Road, Taft and Quirino Avenues, and Adriatico Street.
Earlier this year, ArenaPlus filmed its inaugural Olympic TV commercial with Yulo at Rizal Park. The parade was a special occasion, as Yulo wore an ArenaPlus lei throughout the event, marking a nostalgic moment for both him and the brand.
This historic celebration recognized Yulo’s achievements, including his two gold medals in men’s floor exercise and men’s vault, as well as the bronze medals won by women boxers Nesthy Petecio and Aira Villegas.
Also present were ArenaPlus Ambassador and Olympian boxer Eumir Marcial, along with Aireen Ando, Carlos Paalam, Dottie Ardina, Kayla Sanchez, Joanie Delgaco, Samantha Catantan, and others.
In a gesture of appreciation, ArenaPlus recently awarded Yulo P5 million as an “Astig Sports Bonus” to support his career. This contribution reflects the brand’s gratitude for Yulo’s achievements and his role in elevating Filipino sports.
ArenaPlus continues to champion Philippine sports and seeks to enhance the enjoyment of sports for Filipinos. — EDISON JOSEPH GONZALES
