Eggs-traordinary and curated Easter offerings at City of Dreams Manila promise cherished moments and boundless joy for families as they enter a realm of Easter magic. Ultimate Easter Eggstravaganza 2024

DreamPlay, the world’s first DreamWorks inspired family entertainment center, presents the annual Ultimate Easter Eggstravaganza on March 31, Easter Sunday, with registration starting at 10 a.m.

The Ultimate Easter Pass (P2,999) brings children to experience unlimited fun in the world of DreamWorks animations. The package is comprised of an all-day participating pass to the 12 attractions, and egg-citing activities which start at 1 p.m with an Easter Egg Hunt preceding a magic show at 2 PM and 2:45 p.m at the mezzanine area.

An Easter parade with beloved DreamWorks characters — Shrek, Princess Fiona, Puss in Boots, Master Ping Xiao Po, Mei Mei, Tigress, King Julien, Alex the Lion, Trolls Poppy and Branch, and Penguins Skipper and Kowalski at The Shops at the Boulevard keeps the kids’ energy up as participating outlets provide treats and sweets.

An exclusive meet-and-greet with Gingy awaits participants at the DreamTales Library from 5 to 5:45 p.m Passholders are also given an Easter bag, Dragon’s special ice cream and an Easter Egg cookie to decorate when cooking with Gingy.

The Easter event at DreamPlay is open to only 160 participants and ideally for ages five years old and above. Kids below five years old availing of this package must be accompanied by an adult holding a separate Easter pass to participate in the DreamPlay Easter Egg Hunt.

Easter Eggstravaganza passholders, can access DreamPlay from 11 a.m to 8 p.m on Easter day, March 31. The family center is also open to the public during the Holy Week from March 27.

Easter-cation at City of Dreams Manila

Over at Nobu Manila’s Easter celebration, guests step into a Sunday brunch experience showcasing Nobu-style dishes globally popularized by Chef Nobu Matsuhisa. Adding dazzle to the brunch is a whole fresh tuna which master chefs skillfully cut up for sashimi and other delights. Two specialty carvings — US Prime Rib with choice of mushroom wasabi, pepper or creamy wasabi sauce, and Pork Ribs sweet soy anticucho will satisfy cravings of meat lovers. The Nobu brunch concept combines an all-you-can-eat a la carte menu with a lavish buffet spread where chefs in action prepare Nobu sushi, sashimi and maki rolls at the sushi bar and grill skewered meats and vegetables at the kushiyaki station.

The Nobu-style dishes cooked í  la minute include Black Cod Butter Lettuce, Shrimp and Vegetable Tempura, Nobu Pork Sisig, Umami Seabass, Brick Oven Salmon with masago and creamy spicy sauce and Baked Slipper Lobster with sweet chili cilantro, along with Nobu Signature Sashimi Trio: Tuna Matsuhisa, Yellowtail Jalapeño, Salmon Karashi Su Miso (tart miso mustard sauce).

A perennial favorite is the chilled seafood bar of fresh oysters, blue crabs, shrimps, and mussels, leading to an array of salads and hot dishes. The dessert corner with a chocolate fountain, cakes, and an ice cream section, creates variety and adds diverse flavors to the buffet.

The indulgent Nobu Easter brunch is available from 11:30 a.m to 3 p.m and price starts at P4, 388. net per adult for the Regular package, inclusive of non-alcoholic beverages and mocktails. Other packages include alcoholic and premium beverages. Children ages 6 to 12 years old enjoy half price and five years and below dine for free when accompanied by an adult availing of the Nobu brunch. Easter Gifting with Fanciful Treats at Café Society

Exquisite Easter sweets and handcrafted chocolates masterfully prepared by chocolatiers at Café Society are perfect surprises and thoughtful gifts for loved ones to make the occasion truly memorable.

Not the average chocolates, the artisanal selections are artfully carved into chocolate beehive egg, bear and bunny chocolate egg, chocolate duck with cookies and cream bar, colorful white and milk chocolate bunnies, and assorted small ruby, white, milk and dark chocolate bunnies.

Completing the Easter confectionery are delightful cakes: Chocolate Bird’s Nest and Easter White Chocolate Rabbit as fitting desserts for an Easter feast; other must-try goodies such as Easter apple cinnamon loaf, dark cherry loaf, rabbit sugar cookies, egg sugar cookies, meringue carrots and eggs; and pastries consisting of Easter pecan swirl bread, raisin bread, hot cross buns and ube rabbit rolls.
