A Filipino-focused digital shopping experience

Online shopping has grown by leaps and bounds in the past few years, more so recently as the pandemic has forced people to stay at home. However, it can also be a difficult experience for shoppers and sellers due to the lack of assurance of product quality as well as stiff competition and undercutting of prices.

Entrepreneur Neil La-as felt frustrated from his own online shopping experience, so he promised himself this will be addressed once his own online mall starts rolling.

He likewise wished for better online services and imagined a satisfying experience of getting the quality one believes he pays for no matter online.

As a result, the Go Shopping Philippines (GSP) Mall came into existence.

Despite all the odds and existing players in the e-commerce industry, “I still see the need for a much bigger platform that is responsive to the interest of the market for a more sophisticated digital lifestyle,” La-as said.

Existing online shops lack the understanding of the very essence of why people go for online shopping: convenience and protection. The online mall hopes to make customers’ digital shopping experience hassle-free and secure.

Fresh off its launch, the online mall’s utmost concern is fighting against knockoffs and fake products, which is done through a stringent vetting process. While it led to delays in launching the site, La-as stressed this is necessary to maintain the quality of products available in the said online mall.

The online mall is envisioned to offer a variety of high-quality products. It has partnered with financial technology companies, banks, and online payment systems to give users convenience and safety of payment from the comfort of their homes.
