The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) launched a consumer campaign called the Fab Food Finds, a promo that seeks to help Filipino food service providers boost revenues for their signature dishes made with the finest U.S. ingredients.

In light of the role social media played in sustaining the operations of food service providers during the pandemic, USDA spearheaded the Fab Food Finds promo to help accelerate food sales through the use of online marketing tools. This initiative aims to help Filipino food service providers boost revenues for their signature dishes made with the finest U.S. ingredients and strengthen the USDA’s partnership with the food service industry.

“As a long-time partner of the Philippines, we hope this timely initiative will help bring appetites back for the delicious culinary creations of local caterers and restaurants,” said Morgan Haas, Agricultural Counselor of the USDA, Foreign Agricultural Service. “In turn, we hope this will help bolster the industry’s efforts towards recovery.”

As the Philippines’s top supplier of agricultural goods, the United States through the USDA has a long-standing commitment to the local food industry and engages collaborators in various programs such as technical assistance and market development to ensure that they remain competitive and profitable.

Under the Fab Food Finds promo, ten of the most popular restaurants and caterers in Metro Manila will serve up a series of special offers within the promo period, giving patrons a hearty treat when they order dishes made with U.S. ingredients such as beef, pork, poultry, potato, dairy, and flour.

For a minimum order of the featured signature dishes from participating restaurants, Fab Food Finds will give patrons added value with a complementary dish ranging from appetizers to entrees. This extra perk is valid for dine-in, take-out, delivery, or pick-up transactions* until November 27, 2020 or until supplies last.

Restaurants participating in Fab Food Finds include: Azuthai Restaurant, Cirkulo, CIBO, La Petite Fromagerie, Ome Japanese Café, Sizzling Steak, Sourdough Café and Deli, Teriyaki Boy, The Plaza, and Yellow Cab.
