ILLO’S Home Buffet opened its 4th branch in grand style recently at the 2nd floor of Pearl Garden Hotel on Adriatico St., Malate, Manila with noted personalities from the government, business and entertainment sectors gracing the event.
Among the guests were Parañaque District II Representative Gus Tambunting, actors Rocco Nacino and Andrea del Rosario, singer-actress-beauty queen Charo Calalo a.k.a. Charo Laude, and Bossa Nova Queen Sitti Navarro, who enthralled the guests with her mesmerizing songs.

Super grateful were founder and CEO Chef N Rovillos and wife Anne who will be opening more branches in the Metro within this first quarter of 2023.
Chef N and Anne, food connoisseurs both, started their success story with Illo’s Party Trays in December 2019, with only 2 employees, actually their house helpers at home in BF Parañaque who have been with them for a long time.
The timing was also a challenge because it was the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic that changed everything for everyone. With an initial order of party boxes worth P13,000, it rolled from there and their kitchen team also grew, with the additional crew, coming from a well-known restaurant chain, who were displaced during the pandemic. Everyone who works at Illo’s is treated like family.
The opening of Illo’s Group ‘s newest branch in the thriving Malate area, following the first 3 commissaries in Parañaque, Dasmariñas (Cavite) and Greenhills, is a testament to founder and CEO Chef N’s dedication and passion for providing elevated dining experiences.
It is bound to stand out in Malate where Korean restaurants have mushroomed all over; the area has been officially designated as Manila’s KoreaTown.
The food is a remarkable blend of traditional Filipino flavors and international cuisine, resulting in a gastronomic adventure that leaves one feeling satisfied. Each of their restaurants boasts of a thoughtful design that elevates the ambiance, creating a welcoming and intimate atmosphere that makes diners feel at home. Their spread features unique and unexpected combinations that are sure to surprise and delight diners.

Among their best sellers are paella (choice of Valenciana or Negra), beef salpicao, chicken galantine, baked salmon, and a variety of mouth-watering chicken dishes. Not to be missed likewise is their array of pasta, salads and desserts.
Beyond their culinary expertise, what sets Illo’s Group apart is their focus on good intentions and community building. The restaurant chain’s success is not driven by profit but rather their commitment to creating a positive impact on the community; generating jobs for locals and thereby contributing to the economic growth of their community.
Bringing it closer to home, Illo’s is now open for franchising.
