Feast on buffet favorites

The hospitality and tourism industry is on the mend as the country starts its recovery from the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic. As hotel operations start to return to normal, with leisure and staycation guests now able to book rooms, hotel restaurants have also opened their doors to the hungry dining public.

New Coast Hotel Manila is one such hotel, having reopened its Market Café Buffet recently.

After over 2 years of non-operation, the restaurant welcomes diners to enjoy their favorite dishes with a new menu and themed buffets for the weekend.

Those craving the ocean’s bounty are in for a treat with the Friday Seafood Nights. Here, guests can indulge in unlimited lobsters, mud crabs, scallops, and New Zealand Oysters, all prepared to your preference.

Meanwhile, meat lovers will Enjoy Saturday Steak Nights which is highlighted by US prime grade ribs and roasts prepared in various ways. These include Roasted Chuck Eye Roll, Smoked Beef Brisket, New York Strip loins among others.

The Sunday Lunches are for families to enjoy, with a wide selection of Filipino, Asian, and Continental cuisine favorites. Re-ignite your gustatory senses with the live cooking or ala minute concept serving up Executive Chef Jomar Lucas’ signature offerings. Some of the imaginative dishes to look forward to are his Kare-Kare made with Short ribs and Dried Bagoong Flakes and the Brisket Adobo.

Chef Jomar also fully supports Filipino farmers and local agriculture. Among the local ingredients highlighted in the buffet are artisanal cheeses from Davao in the 4-Cheese pizzas along with Calamansi and Watermelon Jam. Wash down the sumptuous meal with Market Café’s signature drink, the crowd-favorite Guava Iced Tea.

Guests can enjoy the Friday Seafood Nights and the Saturday Steak Nights for Php2,500 nett per person while the Sunday Lunches can be had at Php1,500 nett per person. As a bonus, For every 4 full-paying guests in a group, the 5th member gets to eat for free.
