But, Rémy Martin, one of the world’s leading cognac brands is changing this as it invites people to wholly discover the spirit of cognac. To help guide both experienced and novice drinkers, Rémy Martin will be hosting a masterclass from 7-9 p.m. on January 15 at the Newport World Resorts The Whisky Library. Brand ambassador Kris Sy Ong will discuss the intricate world of cognac. She will show how grapes from the prestigious Grande Champagne and Petite Champagne crus undergo meticulous processes to create some of the finest cognac in the world. The masterclass will feature a curated cognac flight of Rémy Martin 1738 ACCORD ROYAL Fine Champagne and Rémy Martin VSOP. It will also highlight the significant differences resulting in minor tweaks in the production process.
