Delightful Father’s Day offerings

In celebration of Father’s Day, City of Dreams Manila unwraps special dining and staycation offerings to make dads feel like a king on their special day on June 15 and even after.

At City of Dreams Manila’s award-winning Chinese restaurant, fathers are feted with a special menu available from lunch onwards on June 9 to 15. The Father’s Day exclusive consists of a la carte choices that includes a tasting platter of a dim sum trio,  Double-boiled Sparerib Soup with agaricus mushroom; Burning Aromatic “San Bei” Tiger Prawns; Slow Poached Yellow Skin Chicken in supreme stock; and Boston Lobster with Jasmine rice. For dessert, the Crystal Dragon offers Monkey Head Mushroom Puff Pastry.

Popular Nobu classics such as the Nobu Signature Sashimi Trio and chef’s selection of premium sushi cups and nigiri are the highlights at Nobu’s Brunch on Father’s Day along with the featured carvings of the day such as Roasted Whole Wagyu Brisket and Crispy Pork Belly.

At the sushi bar, master chefs skillfully cut up a whole tuna for sashimi, which is offered alongside Gallagher oysters, blue crabs, shrimps, and mussels. Salads, soup, noodles, and a wide selection of desserts that include a white chocolate fountain complete the brunch spread.

Another excellent choice to spoil dad is on a dinner date with a seven-course seasonal Omakase, available until June 30. At P8,871.43 net per person, Nobu’s tasting menu entices with a chef’s choice of appetizer followed by: Ama Ebi with mango yuzu and caviar; Hamachi with red anticucho sauce and crispy kelp; Chuko Inaniwa Noodles with vegetables and cold broth; Sea Bass with wasabi lime miso and seasonal vegetables; and Wagyu Beef with Japanese pumpkin puree,
