GREENWICH extends the celebration of friendship with its #BarkadaBoxAwards, featuring awards drew from the brand’s and its customers’ experiences that are meant to celebrate the love and diversity among friends.
Customers can choose a particular limited-edition pizza box from four witty personalities: Marupok Award, Barkada Cutie Award, That’s My Tita Award and Beshie ng Bayan Award.
They can go to any Greenwich outlet across the country or thru its delivery platform to get the awards.
Reese Pabillore, Greenwich channels and digital marketing manager, said in an interview barkada is a coming together of different personalities and characters which enhance the bonding.
Pabillore said the brand advocates the barkada as it is simple as well as scalable. The brand also highlights what is unique among Filipino barkadas — and that is “kulitan.”
“All of us know what it feels like to be part of a barkada and we probably understand what the barkada love,” Pabillore said.
She added the brand hopes to do something chalog (charming and kalog) and offer great-tasting food which members of a barkada can bond over.
Food fuels friendship and “barkada hangouts wouldn’t be complete without snacking on,” she said, noting that pizza is one of the go-to food items of groups as it is shareable.
As a barkada brand, “we hope to enhance the barkada bonding in all of the things that we do,” Pabillore said, as Greenwich wants customers to always associate it with the barkadahan that marks the fun Filipino friendships.
