FOODPANDA’S pandapro launches its newest beneï¬t — dine-in. The whole new dining program for pandapro subscribers not only allows them to enjoy limitless, exclusive benefits on the app but they can also save on their bill every time they dine in or dine out interchangeably in partner restaurants.
Hardik Batra, foodpanda’s commercial director, said that interestingly, a lot of work has happened in the background. Just to give users a quick update, “we have more than 2,000 restaurants that we have handpicked to be a part of this dining program, including the likes of The European Diner (TED) in Uptown Mall.”
“We are able to bring the pandapro subscribers and make them a part of the pandapro club,” he added, a group of top users who have been with the platform throughout the pandemic, love food and appreciate good restaurants.
“We just thought of going above and beyond for them, and to also launch dining so that they can also save every time they are dining out,” he said.
Looking at foodpanda’s engagement with its restaurant partners, Bastra added they are predominantly a food delivery company.
In this unfortunate event of the pandemic, “we just happened to be on the other side of the pandemic where we gain; we were also able to help so many of our partner restaurants thrive in difficult times to delivery.
Now that the whole economy is opening up, people are going out again. “It is our way to also engage with restaurants better and help them to grow their top-line further,” Bastra pointed out.
Delivery is already there and it will be here to stay, but this is also the platform’s way to bring more footfall into the restaurants and help them tie further.
Sofia Daez, foodpanda’s marketing manager for pandapro and dine-in, said “we want to provide an upgrade experience for pandapro subscribers.”
Daez also said foodpanda’s dine-in program is exclusively available to all pandapro members. All subscribers are entitled to a flat discount on the total bill value in partner restaurants, which in most cases is about 25 percent off, for all regular menu items and is applicable on both food and drinks.
Redemption is very simple and can be done in five easy steps: open the app and ensure users are subscribed to pandapro; click on the ‘dine-in’ tile; search and select the restaurant where they are dining in; conï¬rm with the restaurant staff before they swipe to redeem their offer and order; and enjoy their discounted meal.
The platform has about 2,000 restaurants across Metro Manila, Cebu, and Davao and continues to expand and partner with more restaurants nationwide.
