Discovery Primea has always been part of joyful events and significant milestones celebrated by guests. And while these moments now take place more intimately at home, the hotel continues to celebrate with guests by offering them a taste of what the hotel offers in the comfort of their own homes.
This year’s Mother’s Day is no exception, with the hotel’s culinary team hard at work to prepare a special meal that families can enjoy in the comfort and safety of their own home.
The Spanish Feast features a selection of tapas, main dishes, and sweet endings — all curated with the thought of bringing a burst of vibrant summer flavors and Spanish flair to the table.
The variety of flavor combinations and textures of the tapas start off the meal on an exciting note. The meal starts with a selection tapas, namely Croquetas de pollo y trufa with aioli dip, Tortilla de patatas with chorizo, onion, and parsley, plus Gambas al ajillo with garlic, EVOO, and a baguette. A serving of Ensalada campera with seared tuna, mixed greens, olives, radish, cherry tomatoes and egg is a refreshing addition to the meal.
The highlight of the spread are two Spanish dishes prepared by Executive Chef Luis Chikiamco. Offered only during Mother’s Day weekend, the Paella de mar y montaña treats diners to the rich aromas and tastes of chicken, chorizo, shrimp, squid, green beans, and mushroom. The Pescado al horno is a lovely seafood specialty, with perfect oven-baked black bass, chick peas, and romesco.
For dessert, families can share the Crema catalana flan with caramel. A bottle of Prosecco or non-alcoholic sparkling wine accompanies the spread, and calls for heartwarming toasts to Mom on her special day. As a thoughtful token, the at-home meal kit also includes a complimentary box of Madelenas de Chocolate.
Good for 3 to 4 persons, the Mother’s Day Spanish Feast is offered at PHP 4,500 nett, and is available for direct takeout or delivery through the customers’ preferred courier service from 7 to 9 May 2021. It also comes with reheating instructions to guide diners on how to properly warm up their meal at home. The hotel recommends placing orders and payments in advance, at least 24 hours prior the desired pick up or delivery date.
