The grand finale of Weddings at The Peninsula and More was nothing short of spectacular, as celebrated Filipino designer Michael Leyva unveiled his latest bridal and couture collection, Michael Leyva Couture 2026: Memoria ng Hardin, in a show at the iconic lobby of The Peninsula Manila.

Guests were treated to a dazzling evening of elegance and romance, as Leyva’s signature style—feminine silhouettes, exquisite beadwork, and luxurious fabrics—took center stage.

Leyva’s 2026 collection, Memoria ng Hardin, is a deeply personal tribute to his late brother, Brian. “Every stitch, fold, and delicate detail is a labor of love,” Michael said. “This collection is a narrative of gratitude, remembrance, and celebration.”

Symbolic motifs such as roses, vine-like grapes, and soft fringes represented love, joy, and memory—woven together in a dreamlike maximalist elegance.

Metal body forms echoed the strength of brotherly love, grounding the collection’s emotional core in a powerful visual language.

“I’ve always believed that every bride deserves to feel like a queen,” Leyva added.

“Designing this collection for The Peninsula show allowed me to pour my heart into each piece. It’s more than just fashion, it’s a celebration of love, dreams, and timeless beauty.”

“We are honored to have hosted Michael Leyva’s extraordinary showcase in our lobby—an iconic space that has witnessed countless milestones,” said  Kevin Tsang, managing director of The Peninsula Manila.

“This show reflects our continued commitment to celebrating Filipino artistry and providing a timeless venue for unforgettable moments,” he added.

Michael Leyva never stops telling stories through fashion—his pieces go beyond design; they are heartfelt tributes, living legacies, and expressions of hope.
