Let your child’s creativity flow in Kids Watercolor Workshop —a vibrant and fun introduction to the world of watercolor painting designed especially for young, budding artists. This workshop to be conducted at Sunshine Place aims to spark imagination while teaching the basics of color theory and watercolor techniques in a playful, easy-to-understand way. Through guided sessions, children will learn how to express themselves artistically while discovering the beauty and joy of painting.
This workshop is open to kids ages 7 to 16 years old. It is a six-session course scheduled every Tuesdays starting May 6, 2025 from 2:00-4:00 pm.
Topics in the workshop include color language, primary colors, secondary colors, and tertiary colors. There will be painting exercises.
Sir Jen Consumido, a self-taught artist who does his work in every medium available, but is presently attached into watercolor painting will conduct the workshop. He has conducted similar workshops at Sunshine Place previously.
Starter kits are available at the venue with the following inclusions: Watercolor set, brushes, drawing pencil, kneadable eraser, palette and watercolor paper
