Galerie Stephanie presents a trio of compelling solo exhibitions that delve into the nuances of motion, perception, and equilibrium.

The exhibits feature the art of Nicole Bitas, Michael Orlina, and Jomike Tejido. Their works offer distinct yet interconnected explorations of life’s fleeting moments, shifting perspectives, and the pursuit of harmony.

Michael Orlina

Nicole Bitas’s “Moving Still” by Nicole Bitas examines the beauty found in life’s quiet pauses. Through intimate portrayals of body language and everyday gestures, she captures the unspoken connections between people, objects, and space — transforming ordinary moments into profound reflections on movement and memory.

In his first solo exhibit, “Shifting Reality,” Michael Orlina pushes the boundaries of glass as a medium. Through meticulous coldworking techniques, Orlina weaves pop culture influences with the inherent mutability of glass, creating dynamic works that play with reflection, refraction, and perception.

Jomike Tejido’s “The Theory of Balance” explores balance as a fluid and evolving state. Departing from his signature vibrant hues, he embraces earthy tones and kinetic sculptures crafted from resin, brass, and metal. His interactive pieces respond to touch and movement, embodying the delicate dance between control and surrender.

Together, these exhibitions invite audiences to pause, observe, and engage with the ever-changing forces that shape our experiences.

These exhibits are open to the public until April 27 at Galerie Stephanie, 6/F East Wing of Shangri-la Plaza, Mandaluyong City.
