ISUZU Philippines Corporation (IPC) recently made a significant donation of industry-standard equipment to the Jacobo Z. Gonzales Memorial School for Arts and Trade (JZGMSAT) in line with its aims to strengthen technical education in the Philippines,
The donation, presented by IPC President Tetsuya Fujita last September 4, 2024, includes a new Tire Changer, Wheel Balancer, and Tools Drawer. This contribution complements the school’s automotive service shop with state-of-the-art tools that are in line with current industry standards.
IPC President Tetsuya Fujita expressed the company’s commitment, stating, “This collaboration aligns with our commitment to corporate social responsibility and our vision of fostering technical education and skills development in the automotive sector. It’s fulfilling to see the positive impact our contributions have made, and we are motivated to continue supporting educational initiatives that align with our values.”
Since 2017, IPC has been an active partner to JZGMSAT, donating essential equipment like computers, mock engines, and automotive lifters. Additionally, the company has provided specialized training in diesel technology, offering students hands-on experience with advanced automotive equipment. These contributions have greatly enhanced the school’s educational programs, preparing students for successful careers in the automotive industry.
Regional Director for TESDA IV-A, Dir. Archie Grande, acknowledged the importance of industry partnerships, stating, “Our success is deeply intertwined with the support and collaboration of our industry partners. Companies like Isuzu Philippines, who understand the value of investing in human capital are crucial in bridging the gap between education and industry needs.”
