Presence accelerated enterprise digital transformation

DURING the 2023 PCTA Convention, Huawei’s OptiX Club was successfully held with the theme “Fiber is the Future, Ultra-Bandwidth and Green”. More than 160 customers, partners, and industry academics from the Philippines attended the summit. During this period, Huawei comprehensively showcased a series of solutions that enable enterprise digital transformation through technology and scenario innovation, and released a series of new F5G products and solutions to unleash green digital productivity in the industry.

F5G is the fifth-generation fixed network, defined by European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI) and dedicated to moving from fiber to home to fiber to everything. According to ETSI ISG F5G, fiber is the most efficient and green optical communication medium and can help industries move towards green and digital transformation. The capabilities of the F5G Advanced network will be further improved in terms of bandwidth, low latency, coverage, greenness, intelligence, perceptibility, visibility, and elasticity, better enabling the dual transformation of the industry.

Brandon Wu, CTO of Huawei Asia Pacific said, “Future F5G evolution will focus on enhancing the exploration and innovation of industry application scenarios and unleashing industry digital productivity. Based on technological innovation and industry digital transformation practices, Huawei has proposed a more reliable, greener, and more efficient all-optical network solution, and will work with the industry to promote F5G technology innovation and wide application in various industries.”

In campus network scenarios, Huawei provides the industry’s first 50G POL prototype to build a new-generation Wi-Fi 7-oriented campus network. The new product not only meets users’ requirements in the Wi-Fi 6 era, but also uses industry-leading 50G PON optical modules and algorithms. When the Wi-Fi 7 is upgraded in the future, the original OLT, ODN, and ONU do not need to be modified.

At the event, Ricklee Enterprises Inc. shared the achievements of joint innovation with Huawei in the all-optical campus network. Renee Tan, Vice President of Ricklee Enterprises Inc. said, “Ricklee has always been committed to building an all-optical network-based interconnected life, community, and society. Huawei’s end-to-end all-optical campus network solution is indispensable. In addition, Huawei has joined hands with us to provide optical fiber access for XXX million homes, helping us build a green, simplified and intelligent network and providing the ultimate home network experience for end users.”

In home broadband scenarios, Huawei launches the Fiber to the Room (FTTR) and OTN P2MP private line solutions for ISPs, helping the ISP industry reshape home and enterprise service experience. Huawei and Ricklee released the FTTR F30 series and the industry-leading EA5800 OLT series.

In WAN scenarios, Huawei’s industry-leading 400G backbone network solution and the industry’s first series of bearer solutions, such as APLS pooled WDM, help ISPs quickly build networks with low TCO.

Huawei F5G intent-driven all-optical network solution has served customers in the education, government, transportation, finance, and energy industries in 170 countries and regions. In the future, Huawei will work with customers and partners to build ubiquitous optical connectivity in all industries and accelerate the digital transformation of thousands of industries.
