As one of the largest and most trusted digital transformation technology providers in the Philippines, Mobile Optima’s Tarkie has vastly improved the delivery of service of some of the country’s most reputable companies through real-time visibility and service automation.

During the 1st ever Tarkie Learning Conference on Digital Transformation that took place last October 25, 2019 at Arthaland Century Pacific Tower in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City, representatives of Globe Telecom and Bounty Agro Ventures Inc (BAVI), took turns in showing how Tarkie was able to not only significantly increase productivity and profit margins but also dramatically reduce operating expenses.

Globe Telecom uses Tarkie on over 2,500 technicians nationwide handling broadband installations and repairs. It estimates an increase in productivity of 12% brought by automation and digital transformation.

“From having no proper verification and control if technicians did proceed with the customer visit, Tarkie became each technician’s personal secretary. Controls in the Tarkie App are placed to ensure customer visits are verified and valid via Selfie and GPS Tagging Check-in feature,” shared Addie Menes, head of the Process and Service Excellence Transformation of Globe Telecom.

Menes added that Tarkie easily helped Globe save one hour daily, as dispatchers do not need to manually set-up the work orders and technicians also do not need to line up every morning to get the manually printed work orders. Work orders per team are now automatically loaded in Tarkie every morning for quick dispatching.

“Globe also bid farewell to manual phone calls made every hour just to check on technicians’ progress and location. With Tarkie, real-time GPS tracking coupled with real-time work order status visibility are now made available for the managing team,” Menes further noted.

BAVI, the company behind the very popular Chooks-to-Go roasted chicken, uses Tarkie on its 300 field personnel, a mix of sales coordinators, auditors, engineers and veterinarians whose role is to visit and monitor its branches of over 1,500 nationwide.

“With Tarkie in the business scene, there was a 100 percent increase in store coverage wherein 10 stores is to one person is now 20 stores is to one,” revealed Milady Resurreccion, BAVI’s Assistant Vice President for Compliance Support Center.

“90 percent of admin tasks were now automated, making the admin tasks only 5 percent of the time and motion per day from it being at 50 percent prior to Tarkie. Also, photos as proof of store conditions cannot be tampered,” BAVI’s Belinda de Leon added.

Pleased but not surprised with the success of Globe Telecom and BAVI using Tarkie, MobileOptima founder and CEO Rio Ilao said that giving companies the power of real-time data has always been the goal of Tarkie from day one.
