Over 700 students from more than 30 schools across CALABARZON (Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, and Quezon) attended the DEVCON Tech Nexus summit at the University of Batangas – Lipa. The event, organized by the Philippines’ leading tech community, DEVCON, focused on empowering the next generation of tech professionals.

DEVCON founder Winston L. Damarillo highlighted the organization’s commitment to nurturing Filipino tech talent and announced two new initiatives: a Climate Innovation Summit focused on technology solutions for climate change and DEVCON+, a global platform connecting Filipino developers with international opportunities.

The summit provided students with insights into emerging technologies like quantum computing, AI, and cybersecurity. Speakers and industry experts led sessions on a variety of topics, aiming to inspire and educate attendees about the future of technology.
