“WE’LL build a digital factory that will continuously consolidate the skills and competencies required to deliver hyper-personalized experiences for Filipinos,” Manuel V. Pangilinan, Chairman and CEO of the MVP Group of Companies said at the signing ceremonies for the strategic collaboration of Kayana and Accenture.

Kayana Solutions Inc., formerly known as DigiCo, is a data-powered digital experience company leveraging the data assets of MVP businesses. It is owned by PLDT Inc., Manila Electric Company, and Metro Pacific Investments Corporation.

Pangilinan, also Chairman and CEO of Kayana, highlighted the importance of digital in shaping the economic future of the Philippines and emphasized the company’s commitment to delivering its benefits to Filipinos. He gave examples of using the massive datasets of the Metro Pacific Tollways and Meralco to create customer need analysis and come up with solutions to provide more reliable services.

“Digital is charting the economic future of the Philippines as with most countries in the world, and we are committed to creating new ways in which Filipinos can realize its benefits. Establishing ‘Kayana’ is about delivering on this promise,” Pangilinan stated. The Kayana head also said that the MVP Group’s ecosystem is perfect for the objectives of the digital factory because it has the strength of the data centers of PLDT, and energy sources from Meralco to ensure the computing power is always available.

Accenture will leverage its strengths in creating data-and-AI-led customer experiences and cloud-based solutions as it will oversee brand strategy, product research, and user interface (UI) / user experience (UX) design for Kayana through Song, its tech-powered creative group.

The digital factory will also address the digital needs of other businesses within the MVP Group and Filipino enterprises seeking to build digital services.

“We share Kayana’s ‘can do’ spirit. We are proud to collaborate with the MVP Group and bring together the best of Accenture’s services and capabilities…in creating value for Filipino enterprises and consumers,” said Ambe Tierro, country managing director and technology lead of Accenture in the Philippines. “By tapping into Accenture Song’s expertise in design and digital products, marketing, commerce and service, we are combining creativity, innovation, and technology to push boundaries and help Kayana deliver on its commitment to customer-centric innovation.”

“Customer experience is the heart of the relationship between a business and its customers. We are excited to bring our expertise and help Kayana embark in reimagining experiences and building relevance for businesses and consumers across channels and platforms,” Flaviano Faleiro, Accenture Song’s president in Asia Pacific stated as he emphasized the importance of customer experience in business relationships.
