TECH-ENABLER smartphone brand Honor is releasing new devices, including a new phone and tablet but its most anticipated introduction is a new technology that is set to redefine vlogging.
Called ‘Solo Cut Mode’ the new technology is both a software and hardware solution that enables users to produce portrait vlogs that spotlight a specific person in a group video. Using Person Autofocus Tracking Technology the feature can record multiple main subjects simultaneously–a job previously done by the vlogger moving the camera around or focusing on a subject.
The new ‘Solo Cut’ feature is not just useful for recording videos. It can also be used to live stream both videos at the same time, with the subject of the solo view being spotlighted alongside the main video with a full view. This professional view, much like an announcer in a spectator sport, is perfect for content creators who want to emphasize the “hero of their moment,” and can easily switch to a different subject with the tap of a finger to conveniently create content in a variety of formats–something that used to be done using post-production software.
For Honor to innovate its mobile photography and videography features, the main and selfie camera must have exceptional output. What’s needed is a super-sensing camera, ultrawide with macro and depth lenses, plus a stunning front camera for shooting selfies and videos. Solo Cut will be featured in a new, technology-packed phone.
Honor will also launch its most affordable X series phones. It is powered by an octa-core processor fast enough to handle mobile games such as Mobile Legends, PUBG, and Genshin Impact. It is supported by a large 5000 mAh battery that lasts up to 17 hours of continuous video playback on a single charge under lad circumstances.
In terms of design, users can expect a large screen display for a more immersive mobile viewing experience. It also has an expandable storage feature and a triple camera setup with a high-resolution module. Like other previously released X series phones, the device is positioned to be the most affordable yet in the Philippines, given its features, premium phone specifications, and feel.
Apart from the new smartphone, Honor will release a new tablet designed to meet the multimedia needs of the mid-range market. Based on specifications from other countries, the Honor tablet will come with an 11-inch and display, combined with an unrivaled audio experience that can lure you into the depths of immersive watching. This slate also offers a premium finish, plus a huge battery capacity for all-day activity, be it for work or play.
Both devices run on MagicUI with Honor Share, which keeps all your devices seamlessly connected for a more intuitive and productive experience – be it on a phone or a tablet.
Google Mobile Services will be part of the Honor ecosystem. Honor is the midrange tech enabler of Huawei, which has experienced technology and software bans in the US and some parts of the EU. However, with the introduction of Honor, all devices can get Google-based apps without any sideloading or complicated workaround required.
