FROM basketball to esports.

The Collegiate Center for Esports (CCE) Mobile Legends: Bang Bang 5-on-5 Varsity Cup (MVC) is set next month after an explosive 1-on-1 Exhibition.

The event serves as the main course of CCE’s introduction, as the country’s newest collegiate Esports league goes online from Nov. 10 to 21 with 10 NCAA schools out to show they have what it takes.

Eager to rediscover their chemistry from a long collegiate action hiatus, reigning NCAA champion Letran will parade a potent line-up bannered by finals MVP Fran Yu, with Jeo Ambohot, Allen Mina, King Caralipio, and Shan Bautista providing support.

San Beda University will be led by Damie Cuntapay, Yukien Andrada, Justine Sanchez, Tony Ynot, and Gabriel Cometa, with the two schools rekindling their rivalry in the virtual arena through CCE, which streams on CALM Network with Rebel Sports, Bio-Agrownica, and Alaxan FR as sponsors.

The Knights and the Red Lions clashed in the last NCAA cage wars finals in 2019, with the Intramuros-based five winning the title in three grueling games.

Renzo Navarro, Alvin Baetiong, Carlo Abadeza, Yancy Remulla, and Shawn Umali make up Lyceum; Carlo Lim, Baron Gabuyan, Ryan Daculan, Reiven Valera, Georgie Gauani, and Leonard Jaboli banner College of St. Benilde.

Arellano University will have Kai Oliva, Lars Sunga, Diego Ilao, Marlon Espiritu, and Jifford Cahigas.
