SAN Sebastian College seeks to stretch its winning streak to three and forge a tie for fourth when it tackles lowly Emilio Aguinaldo College today in the 95th NCAA basketball tournament at The Arena in San Juan.

College of St. Benilde, which will play without coach Ty Tang due a one-game suspension after he got ejected the last time out, tries to halt a two-game losing skid when it collides with Jose Rizal University in the curtain-raiser.

The Golden Stags whipped Perpetual Help 107-90 last Aug. 23 that hiked their record to 4-3 and now have the chance to tie idle Letran.

San Sebastian was supposed to battle Arellano University last Tuesday but the game, along with the Letran-CSB  match, was called off due to typhoon “Jenny.”

High-scoring gunners RK Ilagan and Allyn Bulanadi, Alvin Capobres, JM Calma, and Kenneth Villapando are expected to lead the way for the Stags.

The Generals, holding a 1-7 slate, are aiming to atone for their sorry 87-88 loss to the Altas last Aug. 20.

EAC will lean on Marwin Taywan, Jethro Mendoza, JP Maguliano, CJ Cadua, and JC Luciano.

After a blazing 5-0 start, the Blazers have go0ne on a skid, counting their embarrassing 57-88 setback at the hands of defending three-time champion San Beda University last Aug. 23.

The Blazers will bank on Justin Gutang, Yankie Haruna, Robi Nayve, and 6-foot-7 Cameroonian reinforcement Clement Leutcheu, and without guard James Pasturan, who is ruled out for the season due to a dislocated left shoulder he suffered in their game against the Red Lions.

With a 3-5 card, the Heavy Bombers are out to bounce back from a 63-83 shellacking to Mapua University last Aug. 16.

Agem Miranda, John Amores, Chester Jungco, John Delos Santos, and Stephan Steinl will be counted upon most by JRU.
