…NBTC finals tentatively reset to April

DUE to the coronavirus crisis, the Chooks-to-Go National Basketball Training Center (NBTC) National Finals has been postponed and tentatively rescheduled.

Originally scheduled to be held on March 21-27 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City, the tournament has been moved to April 20-26 at the same venue.

The Coaches’ Convention is scheduled to take place from April 24-26.

The NBTC is still taking it day-by-day with regards to the current developments of the global pandemic.

“We are committed to ensuring the health and safety of our attendees as it is our utmost priority,” said NBTC founder Eric Altamirano. “Hence, we have taken the difficult decision of postponing this year’s event to a later date.”

The National Finals will see 32 Philippine-based teams from all over the world competing in the seven-day meet for the national juniors basketball crown.

The Coaches’ Convention gathers the country’s top basketball minds in a seminar with world-class basketball tacticians.

Also scheduled during the festivities is the NBTC All-Star Game that features the country’s top high school prospects.
